Manufacturing Engineers
Require Mechanical and Electrical / Electronics engineers to be leaders in a new manufacturing setup. The manufacturing plant shall manufacture complex equipment for the Oil and Gas industry.
Key Functions:
· Assists the engineering team on manufacturability concepts during the design phase to ensure the manufacturability of new designs at product commercialization.
· Review and evaluate progress in development of design and evaluation techniques for manufacturing. Modify methods and designs where necessary.
· Development, evaluation, and implementation of the required processes, and their improvement, for internal and sometimes, external manufacturing.
· Supplier identification, negotiation and qualification for out sourced manufacturing of machined parts and electronic components.

Education/Experience Required

Promote and implement strategic sourcing, proactively managing assigned portfolio and supply base with a long term, strategic focus. Directly responsible for purchases of assigned portfolio and follow up until customer’s delivery
Key Functions:
· Responsible for the purchase of goods and services, including suppliers’ transaction, item definition and quantities, delivery and payment follow-up.
· Develop sourcing strategies for assigned commodities or services with the goal of sustaining continuous cost reductions and quality, service, and delivery improvements.
· Locate, select and manage a high-performance supply base for assigned commodities or services.

Education/Experience Required
